The Color Red

Red, more than any other color, impacts our senses and emotions.  The color is known to raise both blood pressure and heart rate.  Over time, the color red became associated with love, passion, courage and strength.  But in Western cultures red can also represents anger, aggression, danger and evil.  Expressions like "caught red-handed" and "in the red" have negative connotations.  I always suggest limiting the use of red in bedrooms, it's too high energy of a color to use in a place of rest.  But that is not necessarily the case in other rooms.   In honor of Valentine's Day, I've included some photos of rooms that showcase the color red........what do you think of these vibrant spaces??

Happy Valentine's Day!!
