A Summer Beach House
The latest issue of Country Living Magazine has me dreaming of my future home-away-from-home. This month's issue features a great spread on a beach house in Chatham, MA. I love the soothing palette with pops of color used throughout the house......... this is just the kind of beach house I'd love to be running to on the weekends............once I win the lottery, of course!

A Room with a View
I love perusing design magazines for well design rooms. Whether I am looking for bedroom inspirations or a great wall color, I often stumble upon rooms that share one great feature. In this case, it's a room with a view! Take a look at the gorgeous backdrop in these interiors....I am impressed! Sadly, the view out of my own window falls short. Today it's just a reminder that I need to get out there and weed, prune and cut. :(

Fun Home Office
I am usually a daily visitor @ House of Turquoise, but lately I've been too busy to check out my favorite blog. So I was thrilled to visit recently and discover this great home office featured back in April. Here's a peek for those of you that missed it too. Memorial Day & Summer Colors
They say Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and with the temperatures in the high 80's along the humidity it feels like August already!! I spotted these great photos featured in County Living Magazine and love the cool look......lots of white with punches of blue, aqua and green. I'll save these for my next house! :)

Who doesn't like IKEA? The Swedish mega store known for its well priced stylish designs, has a variety of storage options. I love their shelving, it's functional as well as affordable and can be used throughout the house! Take a look at the ones I've spotted.....you have to love the versatility of these shelves!

Chairs with Personality
I've been searching for a chair with some personality, not your run-of-the-mill chair. It didn't take me long to find the following chairs. Some showcase an edgy frame with a neutral upholstery, others have a more traditional frame with a colorful fabric and some are a combination of both! Either way, it's hard to pick a winner..... I think you'd agree they all exude a ton of personality!

Garden Seats
It's been a while since my last post and I am happy to be back!! I am thrilled to continue to receive visitors from around the world and am happy to say I have had over 11,000 page hits since I started this blog a few month ago. :) So thank you to all who continue to visit!!
Now for my latest obsession......garden seats!!! They are a great little piece to add to your room's decor. Found in a variety of materials, these seats are quite versatile. Often used as a side table, garden seats can add a pop of color or a textural element to a room. Below are a few examples I found that I think are great looking!
